Senator Erickson Shows Support for Cover All Kids

Drexel Hill – Senator Ted Erickson joined Governor Rendell today at the Loving Care Children's Learning Center in Folsom to show support for the concept of Cover All Kids.  "This worthwhile program will serve to help to improve the health of our youngsters in our community and result in making them productive members of our society," Erickson said.

Jerry Miller of Crozer-Keystone Health System and Jack Holefelder of the Delaware County Chamber of Commerce, working with the medical community and Senator Erickson, have designed a program to coordinate access to health care for our children.  This program has already resulted in signing up an additional 150 eligible children in the CHIP Program (Children's Health Insurance Program).  Senator Erickson urged the Governor and his staff to incorporate this model developed in Delaware County into his proposed legislation.
